TEXAS SHEET CAKE RECIPE !!

 

When I’m keen on sweets, but need some thing brief and clean too, there are some recipes that constantly come to my mind. Texas Sheet Cake is one of the dessert recipes that always comes to mind. Other on hand dessert recipes include: Chocolate Brownies, Scotcheroos, and Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Simple and easy ! My whole family loves this recipe so much. If it were for them, I’d be making this every day! Give it a shot, you’ll love it!To Make this Recipe You’ Will Need the following ingredients:

 

Ingredients :

Cake:

° 1 cup butter
° 1 cup water
° Half a cup of cocoa
° 2 cups of sugar
° 2 cups flour
° Half a teaspoon of salt
° 2 eggs
° 1 teaspoon baking soda
° Half a cup of sour cream
° 1 teaspoon vanilla

 Icing :

° Half a cup of butter
° Half a cup of cocoa
° ½ cup 2 tsp milk
° 1 packet (1 pound) confectioners’ sugar (sift first to remove lumps – otherwise the icing will remain lumpy)
° Half a teaspoon of vanilla
° chopped pecans (optional)

 

How to make it :

For cake:

In a saucepan, blend butter, water and cocoa over medium. Heat it till the butter melts. Don’t permit it cook for too long.
In a separate bowl, blend sugar, flour, salt, eggs and baking soda.
Add the butter mixture to the dry ingredients. Beware, it is hot.Add sour cream and vanilla and mix well.
Pour into a cake pan or jelly roll.
Baking at 350 degrees for 21 min .

To decorate:

In a saucepan, blend butter, cocoa and milk over medium warmth and bring to a boil.
Immediately put off from warmth and integrate with sweets, sugar and vanilla.
Mix nicely with a mixer to put off lumps.
Spread over the cake pan whilst it is still hot.
You can both blend chopped pecans with the icing before pouring it over the recent cake, or sprinkle it over the cake once you put it on top (or pass over all of it together)
