Introduction
These cheesy rolls are buttery with a golden exterior and filled with melted cheese inside. They are delicious whether served as a snack, an appetizer, or a side dish. Everyone gets impressed with my cooking skills, and actually they are very easy to make!
Ingredients
1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough , (8 per package)
1 cup shredded cheese , cheddar, mozzarella or mixture
2 tbsp butter , melted
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp poppy seeds , optional
Instructions
Set your oven to a level 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and prepare a baking dish by greasing it.
Roll up the crescent dough, and unroll it so that it can be broken into triangles.
Sprinkle cheese, at least one scoop, onto every triangle piece.
Starting from the wider edge, roll each triangle tightly to the point.
Place the rolled up dough into a greased dish until all of the pieces are in, with them almost overlapping.
Butter should be mixed and then poured gently over it, after having been melted with garlic and onion powder along with black pepper.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the rolls are browned and the cheese has started to bubble. Add poppy seeds to give additional punch in taste and icing.
Serve Warm – We recommend serving immediately after cooking! Hints for Succes Combine various cheeses to enhance the taste of the dish. For enhanced crispness, apply butter to the rolls before baking and after they are done baking.
Avoid putting excessive amounts of cheese to avoid spilling.
Glass dishes can be used to bake as they enhance the chances of softening and equal temperature being distributed.
