Lemon Truffles Recipe !!




These lemon truffles are bright, tart, and they taste like they were made in a coffee shop in Paris. They are compact and full of citrus taste so that people will love them for every small occasion or just as a sugar snack.



One cup white chocolate chips or finely chopped white chocolate


3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/4 cup heavy cream

Zest from one lemon

I tablespoon lime juice

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Powdered sugar for rolling.




Making the Lemon Mixture:

Combine white chocolate with butter in a heatproof bowl.

Heating the Cream:

Take some heavy cream into a small saucepan then start heating it on medium heat until it only comes to a simmer. At no time should you let it boil.

Combining and Melting:

Pour the hot cream over the mixture of white chocolate and butter. Wait for this to sit undisturbed for about 1 minute after which it will have softened.

Mix until smooth and well combined.

Adding Lemon and Flavorings:

Then stir in the lemon zest, lime juice, and vanilla extract well blending everything together.

Chill the Mixture:

To prepare these balls into which we shall roll our mixture, cover this with plastic wrap before putting it inside your fridge for about two hours while waiting for them to harden up a little bit.

Forming Truffles:

You can use your hands or better still scoop out smaller portions of this mixture using either a tiny spoon or melon baller.

Make each portion into rounds by rolling them between your palms.

Dusting with Powdered Sugar:

Finally, roll each truffle through powdered sugar until they get covered completely.

Parchment paper should line a baking sheet where truffles are placed and stored in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Truffles are to be kept in the fridge inside an airtight container.
