1 12 cups soft butter
3 cups granulated sugar
5 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
3/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
6 pineapple rings
Maraschino cherry
Directions :
Preheat oven 325 degrees. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until the mixture becomes light and bubbly.Add the eggs and keep stirring until everything is combined.Add flour and baking powder and stir again until the mixture becomes smooth.Pour in vanilla extract and pineapple juice and stir.Spread ghee and then flour on the pan.Mix brown sugar and butter in a bowl and pour on the prepared pan.Wrap the pineapple ring on the bottom of the pan, and place the cherries in the center or the ring and outside.Transfer the mixture to a bowl and bake for an hour and a half, or until the heart is soft.Drop onto the serving plate immediately; if you don’t turn it over, the brown sugar mixture will harden and stick to the pan.
