 White flour: 3 cups

 Melted butter: 1/2 cup

 Softened butter: 1/2 cup

 Granulated sugar: 2 tsp

 Salt: 2 tsp

– Olive oil: 2/3 cup

 Instant yeast: 2 teaspoons

 Yellow cornmeal: ½ cup

 Water: 1 cup


 Unsalted butter: 2 tbsp

 Onion: 1 small (grated)

 Salt: 1/2 tsp

 Garlic powder: 1 tsp

 Tomatoes: 1 can (crushed)

 Fresh basil: 2 tbsp (chopped)

 Olive oil: 1 tsp

 Black pepper: 1 tsp

 Sugar: a pinch



 Cheddar cheese




1. In the beginning, whisk together flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Next, add melted butter and water, mixing until fully combined.

2. In a coated bowl with 1 tsp olive oil, placed your dough. Always remember to cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 30 to 45 minutes.

3. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then cook the onion until is golden brown.
You’ll want to add cooked onion to crushed tomatoes and sugar, basil, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. And please cook the mixture again for about 20 minutes.

4. For this part, the temperature of your oven should be set to 425°F (215°C).

5. When removing the dough, bring it onto a floured surface and roll it out into a 12-inch (30 cm) circle. To make a large circle, I always stretch it out as much as I can, which help it to cover the bottom and sides of the baking pan.

6. For each pizza, 2 cups of mozzarella needs to be sprinkled evenly over the surface of the dough. It’s worth noting that it’s time to add any meat or veggie toppings on top of the cheese, if used of course.

7. Okay now, you may want to spread 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce over the cheese (or toppings). Quickly sprinkle 2 tablespoons of Parmesan over the sauce. Once done, bake for approx 1/2 hour, or until crust is golden brown.

8. The last step it to take the pizza out of the oven. Not to forget let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
